Delete My Data
We Don't Store Your Data
First Person is designed with privacy at its core. We do not store any of your personal data on our servers. All your information, including your decentralized identifiers (DIDs), cryptographic keys, and credentials remain exclusively on your device.
This means there is no central database for us to delete your information from because we never had it in the first place.
How to Remove First Person and Your Data
Android Devices
- Uninstall the App:
- Long press the First Person app icon on your home screen or app drawer
- Select "Uninstall" or drag it to the uninstall area
- Confirm the uninstallation when prompted
- Clear App Data (Alternative Method):
- Go to Settings > Apps > First Person
- Tap on "Storage"
- Tap "Clear Data" and "Clear Cache"
- Then uninstall the app as described above
iOS Devices
- Uninstall the App:
- Long press the First Person app icon on your home screen until it starts to wiggle
- Tap the "X" that appears in the corner of the app icon
- Select "Delete App" when prompted
- Confirm by tapping "Delete"
- Verify Deletion:
- Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage
- Scroll to find First Person in the list of apps
- If it still appears, tap on it and select "Delete App"
Verify Your Data is Gone
After uninstalling the app, your data is permanently removed from your device. There is no backup of your data on our servers that needs to be deleted.
If you've used the optional backup feature within the app, you may want to delete those backups from your chosen storage location.
